Chinese New Year, also known as Spring Festival or Lunar New Year, is the grandest festival in China. According to the traditional Chinese lunar calendar, Chinese Spring Festival begins with the New Moon and ends on the Full Moon, which is from the first day to the 15th day of the first Lunar month in a new year. The 15th day of the first lunar month is known as the Lantern Festival, which symbolizes harmony and reunion.
To celebrate the Spring and Lantern Festival, Hubei University, a key comprehensive university, located in Wuhan, China, and the Confucius Classroom at the Jagiellonian College in Torun hosted this online Chinese traditional Music concert to show you more about Chinese traditional culture.
